Make an Agar Bacterial Culture 當好菌遇上壞菌
細菌無所不在，可別認為所有細菌都是『壞孩子』喔！有些好細菌可是環繞在食物跟我們的身體中，幫助我們更加健康！
Bacteria is everywhere, but it isn’t all bad. There is
‘good’ bacteria in our food and even in our bodies. This class explains
everything you need to know about bacteria. We will do experiments to find
where most bacteria can be found. It’s not always where you think!
From cheese to stinky tofu, bacteria is all around us. As
much as we clean, we’ll never escape it, and nor should we. With several
experiments we can locate and analyze information to find hot spots for
bacteria. The students will also give a presentation at the end to show their
surprising discoveries.

來自中國少數民族的民間染藝手工藝，蠟染能夠隨心所欲、創造各式神奇瑰麗的幾何圖案，想不想來一試身手呢？
Use wax and ink to create your own masterpiece. Learn the
process behind this centuries old skill. Batique is a method of material
manipulation that has been used in fashion and interior design for centuries.
From India to Indonesia, this art form is popular with locals and tourists.

第四週 大稻埕迪化街
《大稻埕迪化街》大稻埕區和迪化街布市，如今已經徹底改頭換面，把舊時代的美麗台灣重新呈現，我們將一起去探險，看看台灣舊式建築，體驗過去人的生活氣氛，再到迪化街布市，了解我們每天穿的衣服是怎麼做成的，各種不同的布料又有什麼差別？也將結合本周的藝術蠟染課程，了解布料和布花，並染出自己想要的布花跟T-shirt唷！
DaDaoChen Old Street and the Fabric Market. Explore the newly renovated streets of DaDaoChen, inspecting the multitude of traditional shops. Have a picnic by the wharf before heading in to the Fabric Market to be inspired by the myriad of colors and patterns inside!
